Horticultural Education Alliance
The Australian Institute of Horticulture (AIH) Horticultural Education Provider Alliance is a collaborative agreement designed to strengthen horticultural education, professional development, and sustainable industry outcomes.
The alliance supports teachers and students through direct access to AIH networks, resources, events, and professional expertise, while fostering strong pathways from education into horticultural careers. Participating providers are recognised as AIH Alliance Horticultural Education Providers and are featured across AIH platforms, reinforcing their commitment to industry excellence.
Through the alliance, teachers and students benefit from complimentary or discounted access to professional development events, national publications, scholarships, mentoring opportunities, and industry networking. Joint projects, technical collaboration, and community engagement initiatives further enhance learning outcomes and public awareness of horticulture’s vital role in sustainability, urban greening, and community wellbeing.
The alliance also supports alignment with national sustainability frameworks and promotes best-practice education standards across the horticultural sector.
Importantly, the alliance is not a membership for institutions, but a professional benefit framework delivered directly to educators and students, ensuring meaningful, individual engagement with the profession.
