Future Voices is an initiative of the Australian Institute of Horticulture (AIH), created by young horticulturists, for young horticulturists. Designed for students, graduates and professionals under 35, our goal is to help you build confidence, grow your network and take the next step in your career.

We believe the future of horticulture is bright. Across Australia there are more than 200 career pathways spanning production, landscape, arboriculture, parks and gardens, botanic gardens, research, environmental management, education, urban greening, green infrastructure and many more. Whatever direction you choose, you shouldn’t have to navigate it alone.

Over the past few years we’ve been building Future Voices into a passionate community of emerging professionals who want to see our industry thrive. Together, we’re creating opportunities to connect, learn, collaborate and support one another as we shape the future of horticulture.

While we may be early in our careers, our team brings experience from across Australia and around the world. We’ve worked in internationally recognised gardens, commercial nurseries, landscape projects, research organisations and public green spaces, learning from some of the industry’s most respected professionals. Now we’re committed to sharing those experiences and helping others find their own path.
